What I Know to Be True

List 10 things you know to be absolutely certain.

TLDR:

Some truths you pick up the hard way. Others show up quietly and never leave. Here are the ones I’ve tested, lived, and stand by. Top 10 first. A few bonus truths follow.

Top 10 Truths

  1. There’s no such thing as a coincidence. Everything connects. Patterns matter. Pay attention.
  2. Even when everything isn’t alright, it will still be alright. Not because things magically fix themselves, but because you adapt, move forward, and learn how to carry it.
  3. Life is a single-player game. You are the only one holding the controller. People can watch, support, or judge, but they cannot play it for you.
  4. No one will ever truly understand you. And that’s okay. You will not fully understand anyone else either. Depth does not require perfect translation.
  5. Doing is better than planning. Thinking too much becomes a trap. Start. Act. Momentum solves more problems than strategy alone.
  6. Your parents are the only people who truly want your future to be better than theirs. If you are lucky enough to have that, do not take it for granted. Most people will not go all in for you. They will.
  7. Your body will betray you if you do not respect it. Neglect catches up fast. Sitting all day, avoiding movement, drinking, and smoking takes a toll.
  8. What goes around comes around. Eventually. Timing is never yours to control, but accountability always shows up.
  9. Most things that look easy are not. Ease is often performance. Real builders are quiet, consistent, and rarely flashy.
  10. Closed mouths do not get fed. If you do not speak up, ask, or try, do not expect much in return. Effort is required, even if it is uncomfortable.

Bonus Truths

  • Aliens are real. Statistically, logically, and intuitively. Pretending Earth is the pinnacle of the universe is arrogance at scale.
  • Your degree and job title are signals, not substance. If you lead with credentials, you are probably not leading with value. Stay humble and stay hungry.
  • First class is better than premium economy. If you know, you know. If you do not, try it once.
  • Pineapple does not belong on pizza. Some truths are not negotiable.
